Sinopsis

The current situation of the planet requires society’s awareness so that our world can survive. Experts warn of the need to take measures to avoid an irreversible situation with uncertain consequences.

In this context, the oceans are key in the future of nature’s ecosystems. Their waters act as receptacles for CO2 from the atmosphere, the main agent responsible for global warming. We can therefore affirm that the health of the oceans has a direct impact on life on Earth. Their protection is necessary and for protection to be achieved, society’s collaboration is essential.

Interest in conservation implies knowing how to assess the situation, and for that it is necessary to have knowledge. Kantauri Gazia shows us the richness of the seabed of the Cantabrian Sea, including the complex relationships between living beings and the physical environment they inhabit.

We will become familiar with both the coastal waters and the blue of the ocean’s depths far from the coast. This comprehensive view will help us to understand the processes that take place in the oceans and the importance of preserving their health and that of their inhabitants.
