The First Circumnavigation of the World is a gamified educational project in which Juan Sebastián Elcano acts as a teacher, guiding students throughout his journey.

Participants will have to complete different challenges to access new destinations reached by the sailor from Getaria.

It is an online experience specially designed to promote the learning of History in a friendly, playful, and interactive environment that motivates students and encourages their engagement with the subject matter. To achieve this, The First Circumnavigation of the World combines animated videos, self-assessment activities, gamification elements, and more.
